Terms of Service

Welcome to Mustartlove. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Mustartlove platform, including our website, mobile applications, and all related services (collectively, the “Services”). By creating an account or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our Services.

Please also read our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Mustartlove. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age
  • You are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement
  • You are not prohibited by law from using our Services
  • You have not been previously banned from Mustartlove for violating these Terms
  • All information you provide to us is truthful, accurate, and complete

2. Account Registration and Security

To access most features of Mustartlove, you must create an account. When creating your account:

  • You must provide accurate and truthful information
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
  • You may not create more than one account per person
  • You may not create an account on behalf of another person without their explicit consent

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that we believe to be fraudulent, duplicated, or in violation of these Terms.

3. User Content

3.1 Your Content

Our Services allow you to post, upload, and share content including profile information, photos, messages, community posts, and other materials (“User Content”). You retain ownership of your User Content, but by posting it you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your User Content for the purpose of operating and improving our Services.

3.2 Content Standards

You agree that you will not post User Content that:

  • Is false, misleading, or impersonates another person
  • Is sexually explicit, obscene, or depicts minors in any sexual context
  • Is harassing, threatening, bullying, or discriminatory
  • Promotes violence, self-harm, or illegal activities
  • Infringes the intellectual property rights of any third party
  • Contains spam, commercial solicitations, or pyramid schemes
  • Contains malware, viruses, or other harmful code
  • Violates the privacy of others, including sharing private information without consent

3.3 Content Moderation

We reserve the right, but not the obligation, to review, monitor, and remove User Content at our sole discretion. We use a combination of automated systems and human review to enforce our content standards. If you believe content violates our guidelines, please use our in-app reporting tools.

4. Prohibited Conduct

In addition to the content standards above, you agree not to:

  • Use our Services for any unlawful purpose
  • Harass, stalk, or threaten other users
  • Solicit money, financial information, or financial assistance from other users
  • Use our Services to advertise, solicit, or sell products or services
  • Attempt to bypass or circumvent our security measures
  • Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from our Services
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble our platform
  • Use another person’s account without their permission
  • Post the same content repeatedly or engage in other spamming behavior
  • Manipulate our AI matching systems through false or misleading input

5. Premium Subscriptions and Billing

5.1 Subscription Plans

Mustartlove offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions provide access to premium features as described on our pricing page. Feature availability may change with reasonable notice.

5.2 Billing and Renewal

Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on your selection). Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. We will notify you by email before any price changes take effect.

5.3 Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you will retain access to premium features until then. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial billing periods except where required by law.

5.4 Free Trials

If we offer a free trial of a paid plan, we will inform you of the trial terms, including when it ends and what subscription you will be charged for upon trial expiration. You may cancel before the trial ends to avoid charges.

6. Intellectual Property

Mustartlove and its licensors own all intellectual property rights in the Services, including our technology, trademarks, trade dress, and all content we create. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you. You may not use our name, logo, or trademarks without our prior written consent.

7. Privacy and Data

Our collection and use of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using our Services, you consent to our collection and use of your data as described in that policy.

8. Disclaimers

OUR SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT OUR SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT THE RESULTS OBTAINED WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE.

We do not conduct background checks on users and make no representations about the identity, character, or trustworthiness of any user. We strongly encourage you to exercise caution when meeting new people through our platform, including meeting in public places initially and informing a trusted friend or family member of your plans.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, MUSTARTLOVE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE OUR SERVICES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR OUR SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) $100 USD.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Mustartlove and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of our Services, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms or behavior we determine is harmful to our community. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings.

Upon termination, your right to use our Services ends immediately. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect, including but not limited to provisions on intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution.

12. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of our Services shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court, except that either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction for infringement or misappropriation of intellectual property rights.

YOU AND MUSTARTLOVE AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN YOUR OR ITS INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice through the Services or by email. Your continued use of our Services after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the new Terms, please stop using our Services and delete your account.

14. Miscellaneous

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Mustartlove regarding our Services. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision shall not be considered a waiver of that right or provision.

16. Community Guidelines

These Terms incorporate our Community Guidelines, which set the standards for behavior and content on our platform. Our Community Guidelines are designed to create a safe, welcoming, and authentic environment where meaningful connections can form.

Authenticity and Honesty

We require that all profile information be accurate and truthful. This includes your photos (which must be recent images of yourself), your stated interests and hobbies, your age, and any other profile details. Using photos of someone else, significantly altered images, or claiming credentials you do not have is a violation of these guidelines and may result in account suspension.

Respectful Communication

All communication on Mustartlove must be respectful. This means no harassment, hate speech, threats, or unsolicited sexual content. We apply a zero-tolerance policy to any content that targets individuals based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics.

Community Participation Standards

Our interest-based communities are spaces for shared enthusiasm and genuine connection. We expect members to contribute positively, engage constructively with other members’ content, and avoid using community spaces for self-promotion, solicitation, or off-topic content.

Reporting and Enforcement

We rely on our community members to help maintain platform safety by reporting content or behavior that violates these guidelines. Reports are reviewed by our Trust and Safety team, which takes appropriate action including warnings, content removal, feature restrictions, and account termination as warranted by the severity and frequency of violations.

We are committed to fair and consistent enforcement. Users who believe their account has been suspended in error may appeal through our appeals process, which is accessible through our Help Center.
